You really think Farage (or anyone else) would want to be seen near that kiddie fiddler!??

Police are 'scoping' to see if Mandelson should be investigated.

You'd think it'd be a no-brainer, but apparently the definition of misconduct in public office is a bit fuzzy Rolleyes

The unfortunate circumstance is that any party running our country is full of people that don't live in the real world. Their idea of a job is hiding their grubby dealings until it's too late to do anything about it. The higher you are in government allows you to do whatever you like. Starmer is a typical example. Once he's done his worst you'll see years down the line what he's been up to!!!

“I know what you're thinking. Did he fire six shots or only five? Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement, I've kinda lost track myself. But being as this is a .44 magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: "Do I feel lucky?" Well, do ya, punk?”

Sadly I don't think its that straight-forward.
He always had a certain 'something' about him, came across as somewhat creepy, I'd certainly enjoy nothing more than seeing Mandleson being dragged away by the filth wearing the sparkly bracelets, but in reality the likelihood of this going anywhere is probably vanishingly small.

The revelations in the Epstein docs don't really amount to 'evidence' of the sort that could be used in a court of law, and we are talking about things that happened over 15 years ago, so the likelihood of gathering solid evidence now is pretty small, and even if they could, there is the possibility of some kind of statute of limitations preventing any meaningful prosecution.

Frankly, the police investigating, at this point after all these years, seems rather pointless, and more performative than productive.

Totally agree. When an investigation arises the defendant will always says they've no recollection of the event. It's an easy get out once it's years down the line.
