At least get your facts right. The Online Safety Act was passed in 2023. The Conservatives were in power then. We may not like it but that doesn’t excuse talking bollocks about who introduced it

But have Labour taken it a step further to given us enough assurance and peace of mind that when we age verify for adult sites, we can be assured our personal data is safely protected and those sites are not mis - using the data they hold?

The parties voting against were Labour, SNP, Plaid Cymru, and Green. Lib Dems abstained.

If only one of the parties that voted against it currently held a huge majority and could have amended the act or even killed it completely. Oh, wait a minute...
