^^ as a Pakistani Shoaib was never going to have anything complimentary to say about India. Pakistani players have been excluded from the IPL since 2009. Now the same fate lies with Bangladesh after they were excluded from this World Cup.
India calls the tune & the rest of the cricketing world has to put up with that. India's contracted players are not allowed to partake in any other Franchise 20/20 comp, & that is despite IPL owning franchises in many other countries. This is not a level playing field.
This tournament had the feel of an IPL season from the perspective of India. Aside from the will they wont they fixture against Pakistan they played all other matches in India.
It was a pity that the lost to South Africa cam in the group stages & not the Final.
