John Kear was only doing Challenge Cup final commentary on Saturday and passed away the next day travelling back. RIP.

RIP John Kear
John Kear 1954-2026 aged 71.Rugby league coach and BBC pundit, died returning home after commentating on Saturday's Challenge Cup final. Remembered for Sheffields Cup win. RIP.
