TWIAP: Velasquez's Chili Pepper
4 centuries back to 'Christ in the House of Martha and Mary', a cunning effort with a main picture and basically an inset with the titular trio. The main picture has two women in a kitchen preparing a meal, with a chili pepper among the ingredients; which cues up the story of Spanish exploration of the New World, and so on.

Probably the last of this series, which I enjoyed more once I got into it.

11.7 The semi-final was at the Ouse Valley Viaduct in Sussex, which at least made a change from the bloody Glenfinnan one, or the Ribblehead one. As well as the 6 heat winners and wildcard, they brought back a "lucky loser", which helped when they put him into the final, with 2 chicks.
