Breaking news: Rooney might not be available for the Champions League game against Chelsea. A car driven by two mystery men drove past him on United's training ground and showered him with water... Fergie's really worried as all that water has left him with a cold and feeling a little bit under the weather:-

Shit Champions League draw I reckon Not because I'm in any way afraid of Chelsea or bothered about the Champions League, but because I always feel a bit cheated when we get an English club instead of someone new!

The only teams I haven't seen out of the last eight are Shakhtar Donetsk and Schalke 04 and really wanted to add one of them to my list of teams seen.

But Chelsea it is and it's going to be extra spicy after the recent match at Stamford Bridge. At least the referee won't be biased as in a match between two English sides he'll want both sides to lose!

And as for having a dig at the scousers, it's only partly true, as if Liverpool put in the same effort every week as they did against United then surely they'd be contesting a Champions League place themselves. If the Liverpool fans aren't seriously asking these questions of their team and management then don't you think they - as the paying public - really should be? I know I would!

And as for Andy Carroll, fair enough he's probably not fully-fit etc, so I'll reserve judgement for now, but I honestly think he's massively over-priced and rather limited in ability for someone with that price-tag. It's just a personal opinion, to which I'm entitled, but I just hate big target men who are better known for putting themselves about than for actually scoring goals, and I said the same thing about Alan Smith when he joined United and never lived to revise my opinion of him as an extremely limited footballer.

Yer finally admitting it

I did break the news on here on deadline day at the end of January that an unnamed club had made a £25 million bid for Webb which led to Fergie releasing a statement saying Webb was not for sale for any price!!!!!

A lot of our players aren't good enough lindor.It's as simple as that lad.It's not a case of puting in more effort,it's about a lack of quality in the side.The lads try their best every week from where i see it but there's just too many average players.

There's gonna be a huge clearout in the summer...I'd almost guarantee it.The likes of Maxi, Ngog, Aurelio, Jovanovic, Poulsen, Kyrgiakos..will all be sold and replaced with much better players hopefully.

The likes of Lucas, Cole, Kuyt, Skrtel...should all be squad players at best for me not regular starters.So we need one huge overhaul if we're gonna challenge for the big pots next season..That's for sure.

Pretty sure Kenny will get his contract soon and get us into shape in the summer for a bash at the league or top 4 at least.

Carroll's more than just a target man lindor and a much higher calibre footballer than Alan Smith mate.The lad's got a fantastic left foot,he's got deceptive pace,good touch,can turn on a sixpence (tough for a big lad) is a good finisher and he's better in the air than anyone i've ever seen.

For me he'll spearhead Liverpool and England's attack for the next 10 years.
