The Stade de France will be seriously amazing for the Athletics once it gets underway.
The stadium just looks absolutely perfect for it.

I think the Atletics are where the Resl games start and hope we pick up medals quickly, we have a talented squad and very much hope they deliver. Is the athletics track a permanent or a temporary one that is taken up once the games & Paralympics finish?

Very Much hope Dina Asher Smith & the 100m girls provide the early inspiration for all the team & hope Dina is back to her best and stays injury free. A gold medal for her would be perfect start after the year she has had with injuries.

Womens triathlon to get underway after the water declared safe enough.

Mens event to commence a bit later. Go, go, go.

I'm sure a lot of the women false started. They seemed to go very early. Could be one to look out for.

Weather causing havoc in the Women's Tri Bike Ride

Defending champion Flora Duffy stormed into a lead on the swim but has been reeled in by a chase group affected in number by bike ride carnage.

Into the closing stages we go and it's a four way battle for the medals.
Derron of Switzerland, Potter for GB, Beaugrand and Lombardi for France. Four into three won't go.

The race is on as we hit the bell.

Cassandre Beaugrand goes clear for France. It's a silver for Derron and a really hard earned BRONZE for Beth Potter.

It's going to be a ridiculously busy morning in Paris.

The mens triathlon starts shortly but we also have British interest in Diving and Rowing finals to keep across. Eyes all over the place.

Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix and Lois Toulson claim BRONZE in the 10m platform synchronised diving final.

In the mens triathlon Alex Yee has pulled back a substantial deficit and is now battling away with Kiwi Hayden Wilde. But the New Zealander is building a lead.
