The unknown artist Banksie has been unmasked.

He is a 51 year Bristolian called Robin Gunningham, who has also changed his name to with Dave Jones.

People aren't happy that banksy hasn't turned out to be a fat ugly guy not a young art student.

And the value of Banksy pieces are plummeting, it turns out that the mystery of Banksy was the main value.

I've always had the opinion it's not just one guy.

Think of all the stuff to hump about, Big ladders in some cases, never mind the pots of paint.
To do some of those big murals, and be in and out without ever being seen, is beyond one man imo.

I agree, he may well be the actual artist, but it being just him makes no sense, he has to have a crew for the murals and various people that have helped hide his identity and help with logistics. It's a bit shit that people feel the need to unmask him tbh, why, just go with the fact that the art exists. Ruining bastards.

I have to agree it couldn't take just one guy to do one mural in a night unless he was superhuman. It's such a shame that someone had to unmask him after all this time, would have loved to seen the mystique kept going.
