Unfortunately Draper came up short in the final losing 7-5 3-6 6-4 to Casper Ruud. Still a good run though.

Incredibly well, if it gets him into the world top 5!

Draper and even Raducanu going well this week so far

Another fine win for Emma Raducanu.
She has beaten Veronika Kudermetova 5-7 6-0 6-1 in Rome .

Jack Draper also progressed with a 6-4 6-3 win over Vit Kopriva .

It's been a good tournament for her, despite losing in the last 16, and having Mark Petchey on her coaching staff she has won 8 of her last 11 matches on clay - a surface she never played much in her early career and she readily admits "I'm still finding my feet on it" - but if she has a good run in the French Open I should think that could catapult her back into the top 40. I would definitely agree there are some good positives to take away from Rome for her that can help her prepare for Roland Garros.

She seemed to put together a steady run of wins this week, and accepted that Gauff was a much higher-ranked player for good reason.
