Captain Sir Tom.

You served your nation with distinction to your final day.
You conducted yourself with honesty, integrity, compassion and warmth to the very end.

The National Health Service will hold a special and eternal place for you in it's heart.
My father is a retired NHS Consultant Physician. I know he will be feeling particularly sad at your passing.
He is and was NHS through and through.
As were you.

May we cherish all the goodness you brought to this country.
May many more follow your example in life as you look on from above.

Sir Tom was a true legend he gave me and countless others some hope when there was non anywhere, a true example in not giving up and doing your best, thank you sir Tom RIP

His birthday should be celebrated as a memorial day and we should give our thanks and thoughts to what he remearkably acheived on that day.

Desperately sad news.
