Iranian forces are stating that an American F-15 fighter jet on Qeshm Island.

They say they are in a race with the US to pick up the pilots

Let's hope the Americans get there first, because if the Iranians do, that's a very bad day for everyone.

It's appearing that the jet was based in England.

The Iranian's have put a bounty out on the crew.

A search and rescue team have been deployed. But there's an another (unconfirmed) Iranian report that one of the helicopters has also been hit.

US have now released info that they have had a plane downed.

A hostage crisis is exactly what this situation needs

It's a Lakenheath based F-15E. Probably one that was forward deployed to Saudi Arabia several months ago.

If a CSAR Chopper has been hit this could end up being Trump's own Operation Eagle Claw....

CBS are saying that one of the plane's crew has been rescued.

A couple of unconfirmed reports: "the second downed US fighter crew member has reportedly made contact via encrypted radio with the US military.

And from Iran, they are saying that a single-pilot aircraft was also shot down. It was a A-10 Thunderbolt, known as a Warthog.
