There's always been an easy way to age verify which costs next to nothing and compromises no ones data. Government creates a website you enter your national insurance number and date of birth only, it generates a random number. You go to the service you want, enter the number given, it looks it up on a register of generated numbers to verify. All the service knows is you are over 18, not where you live, your image, cc details etc.

I'd be surprised if anyone under 18 even watches it anyway.

How is this going to work in the future for Freeview viewers? A pin number? If all platforms have to have verified age then surely that means the current rules can go out the window?

My bet is that even with far less viewers which is obviously going to happen you still won't be able to get through to those girls who spend most time talking to people in the studio.

Same here. For those who obviously never top-up credits on their account (you need an account ie username to view the web stream), they are missing out on cheaper rate phone calls/videocalls, using credits.

does a built in cam on laptop count as camera? if so I'd do it that way My passport id is too dodgy lol (like five years out of date)

I am beginnnig to think this will filter down to BS at some point.
