But, as was explained in the final, it does not mean that the UK did not get any public votes at all. It means that the UK could have been in 11th place across umpteen countries, but that does not earn the UK any points on the board. I think what is doing us is not allowing us to vote publicly for our own entry like we used to do,(I.e. Song for Europe), which many are pointing out on FB, I would agree, but also I'd like to see us focus less on the visual side of things an focus more on a good natural vocal performance, there are times when I look back how close Sam Ryder came to winning that that was actually a fluke, and we haven't had a strong performing song for the last few years. Maybe we need to try involving some of our more established acts again rather than complete unknowns. Or should we take a year or two out from competing and sort out the situation here and see what we are doing wrong here first.

think only way we will get to host again is if the Aussies win and they decide on us to host for them

need to go back to a public voting for the entry unless someone really big decides they want to do it

Bulgarian entry sounded quite catchy, so happy with that result.

UK seem to want to win it "our way or no way", which looks half-certain.

Once again we send utter shite. Sam Ryder was the real winner in 2022 but no decent human being really objected to Ukraine winning it. He's living proof that if we actually take it even slightly seriously, we'll do well.

prob not but we always used to put out someone popular or someone who had released stuff before

not a criticism of the guy but if he is the best we got when we have british talent every where then the people looking are not doing there job
