At least our performance these days spares us the farce of being told our entry was "the bookies' favourite" eg Gina G, then going on to not win at all.

^^ Because we're arrogant. Take it seriously, if we're taking part. We really have to take a look at our selection process. Sam Ryder's song was a really good song. Why haven't we followed that up?

Agreed about Israel coming second again. Not about the song but more likely Jweish people going out their way to vote for them. Very disproportionate. Happy Bulgaria won.

I watched the Eurovision Song Contest while I was in Greece. If Bulgaria was the focus of the people who didn't want Israel to win, then it was a good choice. For me, Bulgaria's entry was the best, most creative, and most imaginative song in it. Oh, and Dara is a very tasty babe with great legs

The answer to that is 6. Twice with nil points.

It wasn't until the 48th contest that we finished bottom. This year was the 70th, so 6 times in 23 contests.
