Blatter & Platini have been found NOT GUILTY on fraud and corruption charges

FIFA said that once they have seen the judgement in full thry will make a statement but I suspect that the judgement has raised far more unanswered questions about what wads going on at the time and swhether it casts more doubts on the legality of the Qatar world Cup and how Russia was awarded the 2018 tournament, All I do hope that FIFA will seek to ensure Blatter & Platini can never work in football again despite the judement in their favour. I have to say I wouldn notbe surprised if the courts were bribed to clear them.

Infant Infsntino says the Women's World Cup won't be shown in many European countries - UK included - UNLESS TV companies offer MORE MONEY.

Over the past few years I have come the conclusion that football needs to get rid of their president, Gianni Infantino.
He's become another megalomanic, that's why he gets on so well with Putin and Trump.

Remember he was the guy who gave Trump the peace prize trophy (even though it didn't exist) and he's recently snubbed the African Cup of Nations winner Senegal after showing displeasure at them winning.

And he's now taken a cheap dig at the British fans, whoever they are.



It's time that the president of Fifa is changed every 4 years to stop this behavour.

The last guy was bad, but this guys even worse.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino attended Trump’s “Board of Peace” meeting.

He's not a leader of a country, he's just supposed to be the unbiased representative for football. What's he doing there.

He's just a Trump brown noser and needs to be removed from office.

Only trouble is money talks and presumably Trump will want him to give the World Cup to him before the tournament starts and ask him to ensure USA win it by fair means or dodgy decisions..

They also need to make it an an unpaid job where you do it simply for the love of the game and willing to put hard work in and sensible decisions.

I'll post this here to get it away from the World Cup, which should be mostly used for info about the football not the politics.

FIFA are pressing Donald Trump over a problem for some countries who are playing in this years World Cup.
America have introduced a new entry requirement called, 'Visa Bond Pilot Programme' and it is part of a broader crackdown aimed at reducing visa overstays .

It starts on April 2nd, and it requires visitors from certain nations entering the US on business or tourist visas could be required to pay bonds (deposits) of up to $15,000.

Five of the participating countries Algeria, Cape Verde, Senegal, Ivory Coast and Tunisia are due to compete at the World Cup.

FIFA is lobbying the Trump administration to ensure that players are exempt from the bond requirement.

However, the current policy leaves little room for flexibility. And I can see a lot of fans not going.

Just 3 days before the world cup and FIFA President Gianni Infantino now faces a criminal complaint from his former UEFA boss, Michel Platini.

He's waited years to make his move on Infantino.

I love that succession at FIFA rests on criminal prosecutions rather than internal processes.

FIFA reminds me of that last line of Animal Farm:

“The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.”

Is Platini a pig or a man?
