The teams for the Super Eights were decided yesterday with Pakistan becoming the final team to seal a berth.

I have no idea how the two groups were drawn, other than teams that qualify from the same group must be kept apart.

It seems strange that the 2 groups have been drawn before the first stage has been played out, especially when Sri Lanka face Zimbabwe tomorrow in a Group B clash which will decide who finishes 1st & 2nd.

England appear to have had some luck in avoiding India & South Africa, both unbeaten & have looked by far the best teams. Having struggled to qualify from Group C they will still need to make improvements to reach the Semi Finals despite benefitting from an easier draw.
