Keir Starmer - and his miserable government

I would love a modern day Yes Minister/Prime Minister. Had some old clips in my youtube feed recommendations a few months back and yes alot of it is still relevant today, kinda scary.

GOLD did a version about 5 years ago was all brexit wasnt very good

The closest to a modern version was prob in the thick of it

I have a sixth sense that is it likely - or even possible - if the CONservatives keep on at Starmer over Mandelson, How much longer can Labour afford to keep him in place? I know they won't force him to resign but if they do force him to do so, Who will take over, and will they then be forced to call a snap GE at the same time as the locals?

No chance,Starmer will cling on like a tick on a dog.

He's going nowhere, mainly because there's no viable alternative.

Can't see him going unless there's a "smoking gun" which basically said he knew and lied. Would be untenable. Not that the current situation is much better.

In the least surprising thing, imaginable Catherine West has pulled back from her leadership challenge and called for Starmer to go by September.

Two MPs have resigned as PPSs calling for Starmer to go, one of whom was the PPS to Streeting. Mahmood's PPS has called for Starmer to go as have 55 MPs.

It's started but will it be a Javid pr a Sarwar moment ?
