Let's have some more input on TD's idea.
I think it's a goer but let's see.

Not sure which of TD’s ideas you are referring to, but I’m sure I agree with it.

Also… some reflections on the following:

For night and day babes, I think a single nomination round and a single voting round is best. It keeps it a little “gamified” and entertaining for the forum, but doesn’t become a little industry in its own right.

The “extra” is just my placeholder to allow for some mechanism which recognises those ladies who deserve to be in the HOF but would never be voted in because they’ve lapsed from Forum memory. Not sure what that mechanism is. Both the ‘eras’ and the ‘legends’ ideas seem to be attempts to address this, but they both have their flaws.

Assuming there are ‘no bad ideas’ in brainstorming, I’m gonna float one really bad idea: how about organiser’s prerogative? If someone is willing to step up and run the show, then how about if we let that person review whatever campaigns and pitches are made in the pre-induction thread suggested by TD, and then puts a pre-selected shortlist to the members for a straight up-and-down vote?

This seems a little complicated to me. Simpler is better — not just for the voting public, but also for the organiser. Lovely of Snooks to offer his time to do the research of who falls into which era, but if this turns into a hugely time-consuming exercise for someone then it doesn’t seem sustainable.

As a general rule, I think it is prudent to steer well clear of any suggestion that came from Goodfella.

I just noticed that Joeman — All Hail Joeman — has resurrected that extraordinary babevidz archive, this time through a Player instead of a website.

What about prevailing on him to give some insight into the most searched or downloaded models? That might give a more objective view on which girls are still sought after, even long after they’ve left the shows.

Higher number of inductees per year is my biggest one please.

Day Babe: Two every year.
Night Babe: Two every year.

How about a Pioneers category? I'm thinking about babes who may have a disadvantage to those who have worked in the last say five years. Pioneers who've paved the way or does that have overlap with Day Babe/Night Babe?
