Keir Starmer - and his miserable government

Burnham needs a seat so right now it's between Starmer, Streeting, Rayner and Miliband. FFS.

I was a tad downbeat before i read this ,now i feel total despair.

And miraculously a seat opens up for Burnham to run for Parliament. Makerfield MP Josh Simons to step down.



Labour majority 5399.

Gawd blimey it's all kicking off .

It would save a lot of time and money if they could just do a job swap.

Assuming Burnham tries to become a candidate for the Makerfield seat I wonder if that may be what allows the bow to finally break.

There are a lot of Labour MPs who have not yet shown their hand possibly because they are Burnham leaning. So with his hat put in the ring it may result in more Labour MPs calling for Starmer to go.

If Starmer tries to block Burnham standing as a candidate for the seat he will completely lose the party. If Burnham is allowed to run for the seat and wins it seems highly possible Burnham would then stand for the leadership, be successful and become PM.

if they let him run. I can see him winning that its in Greater Manchester he was also MP for the leigh in the area for years
