So for the first time i didn't get the wild joker but as i say it felt unlikely to me this week so i ain't surprised.

Well done to Baywatcher for getting the Brighton v Liverpool score correct.

Three points to him and none for anyone else.

Despite scoring proving hard again there were still two correct jokers aswell. The Aston Villa v West Ham result was very profitable.

The rounds are harder to keep in touch with when they start early and even more so with a vastly reduced fixture list, but I think this week's totals were decent considering the aforementioned challenges.

I will start working on the results post now. I want to get it done tonight, then there's a long break before the next round.

Last week was tough. No easy Arsenal or Manchester City to get easy points.

Getting the joker was a bonus for a couple of guys.

Love Life must have top scored by at least 5 points.

^^ Lovebabes 56 had 9 points just 3 adrift from the top score by love life. The weeks average score was 5.375, despite my joker I only managed one other point.
I think in general the whole season has been harder to predict than in previous years. We've come accustomed to winning seasons exceeding 300 points, it doesn't look likely that will happen.
The title is still up for grabs with the top 2 positions fiercely contested & 2 more close behind, I'll discount my own chances in 5th place.
Of those who have participated every week, all the way down to 14th, the points are so close that there's the potential for a player to catapult well into the top ten, or a player like me could plummet out of sight.
The standard has been as high as ever & extremely competitive, however it would be great to see a few more members coming on board next season.

Lovebabes56 was 3 adrift. He had 9 to love life's 12.

If I am still running this competition next season, I may revert to posting the two tables - one for the overall and one for the weekly scores. It might be a more transparent approach - what does everyone think?

Yes, got them thanks. I'm away for most of this weekend so getting the fixtures posted early gives you more time. Also saves me rushing to get everything posted on Sunday or Monday night, especially with a Friday start.

I just don't want people to miss it.

Thank you to all players. Apologies but there was no time after work to post or send a last reminder. It's very pleasing though to see so many players taking part at this late stage in the season.

Anyone who wishes to get involved can still play the rest of the weekend. There are no deadlines, please always remember that.
