Live on the mic when signing off Fernanda advised that she wasn't sure when she was returning. Not this weekend, she was sure about that but possibly the weekend afterwards although she screwed up her face as if to emphasise that she really wasn't sure.

I will say this we are saying goodbye to a really exceptional woman and human being and goodbye to an era of babe channels programming with Fern's retirement, and I think it will be quite a while before we see a babe reach Fern's style and standard of presenting. She has been a truly remarkable performer for us all and for some the highlight of our week on a Saturday.

Saturdays will certainly never be the same again in babechannel TV

And I do think that we'l find someone to latch onto soon enough. Especially if the babes take the trouble (to borrow a phrase) to watch how Fernanda does it, which I would assume isn't something that many of them might want to do really.

If a babe does reach that kind of style and standard that Fern set then she probably be one we'll fall in love with like we did Fern. I think it will take a while and it's up to St66 to unearth that new star.
