My biggest worry would be would we see a repeat of the shock and awe tactics for Iraq and the messy vacuum that was left behind? and I would not be surprised if he ends up declaring Venezuela as being part of an expanded US. When you look at it he is now trying to multi - task : - Attacking Venezuela and ending the war in Ukraine. something tells me, that something will happen that will make him back down from attacking Venezuela (that is if Venezuela can count on any allies it has to defend it against him).

Haha, so things didn't go Trump's way yesterday. New York have their first Muslim mayor in Zohran Mamdani, a progressive Democrat, who if he can achieve what he wants to, will be great for the city. California voted in favour of redrawing their maps to give the state more seats to counter what the GOP have been doing, Abigail Spanberger becomes the first female governor in Virginia's history and also Mikie Sherrill, the winner of the New Jersey Gubernatorial race, said in her victory speech that her state will never be “ruled by kings.” It's almost as if the unpopular president is actually unpopular, who would have thunk it. lol.

If more Governors were able to stand up for their beliefs against Trump then I can imagine the Trump ship will start sinking, but does the current popularity polls even shows Trump to be unpopular, and if that is the case - then why aren't ordinary Americans aren't even waking up and realising that Trump is indeed unpopular?

The guy has an approval rating of 37% the lowest it's been for him in his second term, his ship is sinking already, he's very unpopular even with some Republicans, only he and his minions claim otherwise. It isn't an if, it's a solid is unpopular, facts don't lie, despite what Trump says. Democrats won yesterday for a reason, that's a good start for them.

I can't understand what Trump's doing with the Epstein files.
One minute he's not going to allow their release, instead deflecting by releasing 80 odd year old files on Amelia Earhart.

Then on Air Force One he's now announced that the House Republicans should vote for unsealing Jeffrey Epstein's files. Stating they have nothing to hide and labeling the push a Democratic hoax. The files relate to Epstein's 2008 plea deal and federal investigations

Is he hoping by releasing those 2008 files he will be able to hide evidence that would fully incriminate him? People should email their senator/Governor, turn on Trump and demand the full files release so they can be judging him for themselves.

As for the Earhart files I am wondering if there was any evidence that has never been studied closely enough before that could pinpoint to where her plane crashed or last known position.

If I was to hazard a guess, I'd say he's been stalling while he had people go through them with a fine tooth comb because he didn't know exactly what was in them.

Looks like he thinks he's in the clear now.
