Still had a feeling it was going to be Alistair black upto a hour before it was revealed

Smackdown is back to 3hrs tonight

Can't say I'm all that enthusiastic about Smackdown going 3 hours

The 3 hour shows they did for that period around this time last year weren't great and just felt like it was padded out with needless filler rather than actually enhancing the product

I'm going to Smackdown in London in 2 weeks, annoyed they announced the 3 stages of hell for Berlin next week and not London haha.

I believe (if I've kept My book keeping right lol) it will be my 50th Live WWE Event so hoping for something big to mark it with

Smackdown was actually very good last night with Matt Cardona in action (apparently is signed with WWE) & Jordynne Grace getting called up.

Yes I actually rather enjoyed that Smackdown and the 3 (well 2 and a quarter or so after the Netflix ad skips) hours went by quickly

Felt a bit fresh with some new faces, well new old faces and new to the main roster faces

Trick Williams call up is long overdue and should add a bit of spark to the upper mid card/lower main event scene for now as he is a future champion in waiting and I expect we'll revisit the Melo rivalry down the line as well, perhaps the one to eventually take the US Title from him

So overall that episode already felt more noteworthy and impactful than any of the 3 hour shows last year.

Looking forward to Raw Monday for the 1st show of 2026 and Bron vs Punk especially

I'm unconvinced with smackdown going to three hours I would only use it for special occasions IE the night before a ppv
Berlin could be in a real treat with three matches with Cody and drew beating the hell out of one another for I reckon close to a hour

And it will be on at a uk friendly time. Smackdown will be on here in the uk at 7pm on Friday evening
