If I were Robbo, I'd seriously consider my position at the Club. Listening to the game on 5 live, I don't think Blackburn did very much, and Wigan did all the attacking. I'm surprised that the PL have never launched a full investigation into what's going on at the club. I fear that parachute payment that the club will get for being in the Championship will just disappear into the Venky's pockets and won't be used as investment in the club. I hope all the protests last night will finally make the PL/FA and the Football League will sit up and finally take notice as to what's going on there. If 5 live can do a special on Rangers, they should do one on Blackburn or at least a 606 special. I think that the longer the Venky's are there the further Blackburn will fall and I wonder if Blackburn will be involved in a dogfight for relegation from the Championship next season, rather than promotion.

Does the parachute payment come all at once or in dribs and drabs. cos im sure cos once thats gone then they will be off if there wasnt one then im sure venkys would have sold up at xmas

This is the current payment schedule for the Premier League parachute payments:

1st season: £16m
2nd season: £16m
3rd season: £8m
4th season: £8m

Total: £48m
