Now as a matter of policy please know I never post on any Threads of this sort so I'm going to do what hasn't been done before and that is to add some substance and content to the post in the form of a nice easy tip on how to make the perfect toastie

Place 4 bits of bread under the grill
Flip over
Add cheese and mushrooms on one side (Scottish ofcourse)
Add ham and vine tomatoes on the other side
Grill until well done
Join both sides together
Put under grill again
Flip over and grill other side

There you have it. A toastie that will be firm on the outside and soft and tasty in the inside

^^ Whoever said Scots were careful with their money,maybe you missed it,but the Sandwich Toaster was invented many years ago.You pick a basic one up for around £10.It does all the "joining together" for you,amazing.

I always thought it was Haggis & Shortbread,Scotland were famous for,it would seem cheese & mushrooms can now be added to that list.
So it we've both learned something here.
