August 11th 2007 Sophie Lancaster and her boyfriend were left in comas after being kicked and stamped on in a vicious attack because they were dressed as goths. Sophie died 13 days later without regaining consciousness. the sophie Lancster foundation was set up to get attacks on sub cultures listed as hate crimes and to promote tolerance and education of all sub cultures so people could live their lifestyle of choice without fear of atrtack or abuse. Long time supporters of the charity, Bad Polyanna have released a charity single to benefit the foundation.
