RIP Cliff Michelmore

The veteran broadcaster has died at age of 96.

In career spanning four decades he anchored coverage of events including Apollo Moon Landings and 2 general elections.

He interviewed royalty, prime ministers and a 17 year old David Jones(Bowie)

Sadly, they don't make broadcasters like this any more A lovely bloke who didn't need to treat the audience like short-attention-span morons, or treat his topics with all the seriousness of a whoopee cushion.

RIP Mighty age, too.
