Comic Relief Red Nose Day-Friday, 15th March. Once again a phenomenal amount of money raised on the night, £63m and overall now over £1.3m raised in the 31 years since it started in the late 80's. Sir Lenny Henry once again was the main presenter with others helping out. It had the usual mix of heart-wrenching clips and funny sketches and programmes specially made for Comic Relief: This year it was a Mamma Mia 2 spoof, a spoof Bodyguard episode and a Top Gear pranking by Andrew 'Freddie' Flintoff tricking Robbie Savage into driving around the track-unbeknownt to Robbie the driver of the car was in the boot-specially adapted and driven by a stuntman. Good also to see the Only Fools and Horses cast doing a few numbers and Magic Mike dancers joined by Johnny Vegas(yes you heard that right!) I did my bit by donating money online too.
