RE: What TV show did you last watch?
Recorded back in January Top of the Pops-The Story of 1987(BBC FOUR) and looking back to when I was 21yrs old, the country was in crisis thanks to the Tories and Thatcher, the print unions were up in arms over computers replacing workers at Wapping and the most hideous fashions known to man with big shoulders and garish colours-and that was just for the men. Music-wise great to see some old stuff like Curiosity Killed the Cat, T'Pau, Rick Astley(still going) and Mel and Kim with Kim reminiscing about Melanie Appleby's untimely death from cancer. You also saw the rise and rise of Stock, Aitken and Waterman and how the producer of TOTP's Michael Hurll had to change the look and try to keep it fresh amidst pretenders like MTV and The Tube(Channel 4) Brought back a lot of memories, not all of them great.

RE: What TV show did you last watch?
Last night-LINE OF DUTY series 5 and already we've had a killing and a dramatic shootout. Jed Mercurio really is the master of suspense and he also likes sprinkling red herrings all over the place. It was interesting to see the board with all the names of the previous coppers that had been caught out including DI Matthew 'Dot' Cottan who had been there since series 1 and always looked dodgy - he was killed off eventually in series 3 I think it was. Adrian Dunbar, Vicky McClure and Martin Compston are brilliant as Hastings, Fleming and Arnott respectively and I cannot wait to see the other twists and turns to come in this series.
