RE: What TV show did you last watch?
Blockbusters-Comedy Central(for some strange reason) and new host Dara O'Briain(Thursday's 8pm) Oh dear! what on earth were they thinking? It is usually a bad idea to fiddle about with a dearly-loved programme but another to muck about with the format. The original 80's/90's quiz show(based on the premise were two heads better than one) was hosted by Bob Holness and he did a really good job keeping the students in check. They had a set of three games and the winner would then go down to play the Gold Run-you had to answer a series of questions in a snhort space of time and get across the board(hexagonal shapes with 2 & 3 letter phrases to guess) In this new version for some reason if you draw there is a Hexagon Standoff where the first to answer the question wins and does only ONE gold run and you get a choice of two categories to choose, rather than the letters being random. I rather liked the Simon Mayo version(a few years ago on Sky One) which stuck to the original format but used older players. This new version has students acting like idiots and O'Briain playing it for a laughs - sorry but I prefer the old version where to get five gold runs in a row was a real achievement.

RE: What TV show did you last watch?
Climate Change-The Facts BBC1. This programme looked at all that went on last year and Sir David Attenborough told us what we needed to know, that we are on borrowed time and if we don't do something to radically improve the climates of the world we will be in serious trouble and will ruin the next generation's chances. This told the real facts from scientists all over the world and it should be compulsory for that clown in the White House, who thinks its all a hoax, to watch this programme and then try and convince himself its still not real. It is scary but we have to put pressure on governments around the world to do something or the results of not doing anything will be catastrophic-that kid Greta Thunberg is a marvel and she inspired schoolkids around the globe to march and protest against their respective Governments and force them to take note. I think she deserves to be mentioned as a possible Nobel Prize winner.
