Perhaps you're asking the wrong question. Surely a better question would be why Clare is still regarded as one of Studio 66's leading lights? With 6 night shifts already this month, she's racked up more than anyone else, even more than the 5 shifts given to the frequently appearing Lola.

Clare is clearly doing something right, especially when Studio 66 always seems to be rife with girls complaining that they can't get as many shifts as they would like, and also when there are so many newcomers on the books right now who would like a shot at TV if they could get it.

It's certainly hard to believe any suggestion of favouritism. There have been several indications that Studio 66 are not having an easy time at the moment and are in a battle to survive. Favouritism is simply a luxury that they can't afford - and especially not to Clare's number of shifts.

Come on now, she's an absolute bore nowadays, I was flicking through last night and what I saw from her was a joke.

If people want to waste money on her when she does next to nothing nowadays then that's their choice.
