RE: What have you noticed lately?
It's been bloody cold the last two nights-last night was so cold I had to sleep wearing a fleece over my pyjamas! However this weekend we will experience a mini-heatwave(weather coming up from the southern European regions) before the temperature drops again thanks to Atlantic pressure moving towards Britain.

RE: What have you noticed lately?
Apart from the fact we've had a mini heatwave in Lunnun
I have noticed that the rise and fall of social media tends to dominate the news. There isn't a day that goes by that some online thing is either not good enough, dangerous 'predators', sites for kids not that safe(Roblox apparently) or some right-wing lunatics who want to threaten people or destory the world - it's a shame these people are allowed to crawl out from under their stones and put their stuff online, the world is a dangerous place but the cyberworld seems to be doubly so. I doubt any of this was envisaged by its creator Sir Tim Berners-Lee.

One almighty flash of lightning and a huge ka-boom! Thunder and rain as well - flamin' June! but we do need the rain to avoid any chance of drought like last Summer.

Thunder rolling about outside, yet it is hot and steamy-I always thought that when you got thunder, rain would follow but it would clear up the atmostphere-it seems this is the opposite effect tonight and NO rain!! I really hate hot weather but I won't complain again about temperatures in the high 20's after this Summer's heat!

I am far from optimistic with Boris in charge as is the rest of the Europe and the world and I don't think it is any fault of the BBC, they cover the momentous turn of events because that is their original remit, to inform, educate and entertain. Would you rather have the bias of a Fox News or wall-to-wall coverage of CNN(including adverts)?
One noticeable thing today...It's BLEEDING HOT!!
