Bad Boys For Life (Non-Spoiler Review)

Saw this last week now I was big fan of the previous two movies but didn’t know what to expect with the third considering Michael Bay wasn’t gonna be directing and I have to say it’s better then I expected to be under two new directors and it actually feels like a Michael Bay Film but it isn’t.
Will Smith & Martin Lawerence still have great chemistry together, the action was great and funny also there a few shock moments and revelations, along with twists and turns throughout the movie I was thoroughly entertained with the movie, don’t wanna give away too much of plot as it has a big twist but let’s just say It involves something big with Mike (Will Smith).There are plans for a fourth movie which am not shocked about after watching this movie. Now don’t expect to be original or ground breaking in the action genre I would happily buy this on Blu Ray great movie.

Doctor Sleep 2019 a really good movie plenty of thrills and action worth a watch 10/10

The Hunger Games.

Doolittle 3/10 - one or two funny moments but otherwise pretty bad.

Playing.with.Fire.2019 top film and so funn for the kids to 10/10

The Rhythm Section 6/10 - a bit slow to start but worth a watch and Blake Lively is actually pretty good in this.

Birds Of Prey: And The Fantabulous Emancipation Of One Harley Quinn

The eagerly anticipated Harley Quinn solo movie is here and it’s a fantastic comicbook film that sees Harley Quinn on her own having split up with Joker & having to save a young girl from Black Mask (Ewan McGregor)

Margot Robbie is again brilliant as Harley Quinn, Ewan McGregor is clearly having a ball as the main villain Black Mask. Jurnee Smolett-Bell & Mary-Elizabeth Winstead are very good as Black Canary & Huntress respectively as is Rosie Perez as Renee Montoya.

It definately deserves its 15 rating as it’s very violent & full of swearing. It’s also very funny too, especially Harley. It does reference Suicide Squad but Harley is the only character from Suicide Squad in this. There is something after the credits

One newspaper gave it 1 star rating, another 4 stars!!
I watched SHAZAM! earlier(2019) and I must say it was very good. The young leads were very good, no over sacchrinisation of scenes and some genuinely funny moments as well as the usual poignancy and moral aspect. Special effects were good too. I must admit to not knowing Zachary Levi but I thought he was good as Shazam! and a couple of good twists. At the end of the film the main villain Mark Strong(he seems to thrive as those, Kick Ass, Green Lantern etc) is seen talking to something sinister so perhaps there is room for a sequel. All in all a good film 8/10.
