I see Trump has refused to take part in a virtual TV debate claiming the format would be to protect Joe Biden.

^ That would be very true - I mean why would Biden want to die from Covid given him by Trump! Actually Trump has been keen to avoid the 2nd debate as it was to be Town Hall style meaning questions put to the candidates by the public and he’s crap at them.

any politician is crap at answering questions from the public IMO including Trump

I feel there were some missed opportunities from Harris in this debate to really grill Pence, you saw in the Kavanaugh hearings she took that pathetic excuse for a man apart to the point he ended up sobbing like a little girl. People have put forward the idea that she didn't want to fall into the stereotype of the angry black woman, while others have suggested that she played it safe because when you are so far ahead in the polls you just play for par, don't do anything to upset the momentum. I would reckon that both are true.

I would of loved her to of asked Pence, as head of the coronavirus task force, why there are more active cases in the White House than there are in the entire country of Vietnam and how can the American people trust The President to keep them safe from the virus, when he can't even keep his own house safe.

VP Pence pointed out that the Biden plan to tackle the virus is the same as the Trump plan & therefore there criticisms of the Trump response is not warranted. At which point Harris should of mad clear that the most valuable weapon in fighting a virus is speed & hence should of asked why, when The President knew about how serious the virus was in January, did it take him until April to initiate the Defense Production Act, the same month the President claimed the virus would be over by because of warmer weather, again when he knew that was false. The line Biden-Harris should press is Trump lied. Americans Died

I would of liked her to ask Pence for 3 things he disagrees with Trump on. Pence has been nothing but an enabler for Trump & has never really criticised him for anything even when Senate Republicans have. The idea being, if anything happens to the President, the VP is to take over & who do the American people want as a potential Commander in Chief, someone like Harris who lambasted Biden in the primaries for his stance on racial issues like busing & has the courage of her convictions to disagree with her boss or do they want a spineless yes man who doesn't have the balls to stand up for his conservative principles?

Harris mentioned several of Trump's disparaging comments to military personnel which Pence described as slander. At which point she should of said, so the President didn't say that Senator McCain was a war hero because he was captured & that he likes people who weren't captured?
