The "happy" Thread AKA "not the "pissed off thread"

Got WWE 2K24 Deluxe edition today which is much needed to get me through a very tough week as Thursday would have been my Mum's birthday if she was still with me & Sunday is mother's day

Currently in Blackpool about to watch Circus Of Horrors & am staying over after the show with dad in a travelodge that’s right next to the venue.

So good news for all my haters here…I can’t watch the shows tonight

I'm going on my 1st overnight wrestling trip of 2024 in just under 3 weeks. I'm going to watch Pro Wrestling Eve Wrestlemania 40 weekend show called Wrestle Wo-Mania on Friday 5th April in London. Eve is an all women's promotion featuring top female wrestlers from the UK, Europe & the rest of the world

Really have enjoyed going on these overnight wrestling trips over the past 2 & a bit years and I'm so happy it's not long now before my next one.

Leeds United are top of the Championship, it's St Patricks Day & my local is giving away free Guinness, & I'm still blown away that I'm getting to chat to Sara Matty after 10 years. Life is fookin good.

Just home from lunch with a guy who used to work for me but we haven’t seen each other for over 20 years. What an absolute joy. So proud of what he has achieved and so much in common to talk about in terms of life experiences.

Working for an elderly couple that have gone down south for a week.
Unfortunately they've not left me with the garage key, so no access to electricity.I
So lucky that they've got such lovely neighbours.
Nigel two doors up offered me an electric socket to use , then when He was unavailable..Val next door kindly did the same.
I bought Val a nice house plant and some choccies to say thankyou. She was well made up when I knocked on the door and offered kind words and gifts.
Nigel has a bottle of wine and choccies... Popping round to say cheers in the morning.
It's nice to see there's still nice people when you need them.
