Looked at the weather forecast for the area. Oh dear.

With the expanded format, this sort of thing was likely to happen. Surely you want most of the best teams to progress. Being eliminated from a tournament by potentially not being able to complete 2 out of 4 matches seems harsh. With the minnows versus the top Test playing nations in the main it's been no contest.

Thankfully the weather held for long enough. Providing Australia beat Scotland tomorrow England will progress to the next stage of the tournament.
