Humphries v Littler.

Luke Humphries is the champion after beating Luke Littler 11-7 in the final. Humphries surged into an early lead before Littler clawed back the deficit with the help of a few huge checkouts.
The standard of play soared as the match neared it's climax but it was the defending champion who held his nerve best to seal victory.

Luke Humphries retains the Players Championship Finals Title and wins it for the Second Time defeating Luke Littler 11-7

Humphries was impressive in turning his semi-final around from 2-6 down. He and Littler have done great things in 2024.

The World Darts Championship has started tonight at Alexandra Palace but with sad news overshadowing the beginning of the event.

The wife of pundit and commentator Wayne Mardle has recently passed away after a short illness. Sincerest condolences to Wayne and his family. The Darts community is right with you Wayne at this difficult time.

Luke Littler wins the Young Sports Personality Of The Year and becomes the first Darts Player to do so , so can he win the big one , anyway he deserves this moment he does.

He doesn't but it was obvious Keely Hodgkinson was going to win anyway.

When you look at the PDC championship has only been out of the country 4 times in it's history: Van Gerwen (twice). Barney, & John Part.
I would say if it's has to go abroad again the smart money would be on Van Gerwen, but I'm wondering if we'll seee that steely eyed Van Gerwen in this championship.
