Dr Who

Got around to watching the colourisation of Patrick Troughton's finale The War Games, and like The Daleks a bit of a mixed bag.

The colourisation team deserve a lot a credit for their work and I'd say it was done better than The Daleks, a bit less garish. The edit got the job done in telling the story but even without watching the orginial some of the editing still looked a bit too jarring and made no sense. The original had padding as it never meant to be 10 episodes but still squeezing in over 200 minutes into 90 minutes this was to be expected. A lot of the character development and interactions, particularly between the Security Chief and War Chief was lost.

The retcon of the War Chief wasn't needed at all but I guess RTD just couldn't resist himself.

Been catching up on this series. Last one was pretty good. Bit more old skool Who, after Cartoon Capers and the Toy Story robots

Not sure about the new costume changing thing, but keeping to one companion is good.
Keeps it focused. The 'cast of thousands' previously, with Jodie W, was a bit all over the place.

This is just my opinion but the latest Ep 4 was a load of bollocks, totally waste of 45 mins.

I'm a tad behind on this series...

Yes, did seem like a bit of a filler so Gatwa could have a day off, then turn up at the end for the sanctimonious lecture

But clearly we haven't seen the last of Conrad, and was good to see Ruby again

Nice to see an angry Doctor with a bit of an edge to him in the most recent episode. Plus the reveal of who or what Mrs. Flood is.... finally.

Wow was not expecting who the 16 th doctor was
