The numbers, you have lots of professional economists saying this is bad, but the white house, known to be oh so truthful says different, hmm, who to believe.

I do wonder just how governments (ours included obviously) end up having such fucking useless number crunchers making economic choices for a country, when clearly much smarter people are telling them it could lead to x and y happening.
