Robbo made the unusual error of winning a ponderous 5th frame, after which Trump bustled pretty smoothly through 4-in-a-row (like his 6-in-a-row antics against Ding). Hendry digged Davis for loving said 5th frame. I did enjoy Doherty-Perry on commentary, less dire than most of the others.

Fantastic 6-3 victory for Selby against Tubbs. Selby capped it off with a 127 break in the last frame.

So it's a Judd v Selby final. If it follows the season trend of a different winner each event, then Judd will retain the title. If Selby wins, he'll be the first player this season to win 2 professional tournaments.

Selby has been on a different level the last two tournaments. Looking like 2014-2019 Selby. He's like the terminator, relentless and brutally efficient. I like Trump, but hope Selby wins today. He's a joy to watch in this form.

Bloody hell, if the BBC had kissed Murphy's arse anymore, they'd have had complaints of jealousy from Nigel Farage. You'd imagine from the way they talked that it had been a final black in the decider situation, not a pedestrian 6-3 win.

^ I really enjoy watching Murphy play, but all the media stuff around him is ludicrous. They treat him like the all knowing authority on the game, I don't get it.

Tonight it's a whole different story.

In the end though The Selbatron got it done 10-8 with a gutsy match winning break. He had been missing blacks off spots and all sorts before that.
