She had her centenary last week (well, she died in 2006, but anyway), and this short profile was from the same year. Best remembered for The Red Shoes, which she hated, working 3 times with Powell & Pressburger, whom she didn't like, and 55 years of marriage of Ludovic Kennedy (so, 1 out of 3).

"Sir" Andrew Motion went to Hull to meet Betty Mackereth, the 3rd woman that the famous Hull librarian/poet/photographer was keeping on the go, and to discover a new/lost poem of his. Made in 2010, repeated because she recently died at 101. Such is television.
