Historically HOF's are steeped in controversy. There's clearly been some corruption & a Witch Hunt against Belichick in the American Football HOF this year. They seemed to have made an issue over his Spygate controversy, which has absolutely nothing to do which his career achievements.
By the same token Lori Buckby could miss out due to her criminal past.

I'm confident anyone voting for Lori Buckby will not be evaluating the moral dimension, any more than they do for anybody else.

Why is there a Hall of Fame at all? You want to "show respect" for babes of yore. Either vote them all in, in whatever increments you wish, or just chuck them all in, even the shit ones (see above).

I don't think it needs to be restricted to babes who've got on with their lives and do other things; plenty of musicians have been inducted in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and keep on rocking.

I think we're making this way to complicated

How about this, nominate 8 babes, get them to compete in the Hunger Games, and the one that comes out alive is inducted

If eras are introduced to increase inductees, then maybe it could be broken down into 5 year periods, based on when a babe debuted. For example...

2002-2006 debutant day & night inductees
2007-2011 debutant day & night inductees
2012-2016 debutant day & night inductees

A separate legends category might not be needed, if day & night babes that debuted 10 years ago are the only eligible inductees and the eras format is used.

That's a good idea. I think the A-Z thread on here might have the details of every babe that's ever appeared on a channel since 2002, and the year of their debut.

Or start with a Nomination Stage for everyone to officially put forward the singular or multiple day & night babes that debuted a decade prior, that they deem HOF worthy.

And finally either the day & night babe with the most nominations gets inducted into the HOF, or the top 3 day & night babes with the most nominations go to a Final Stage and the winners get inducted.

Thanks for doing this, I'm sure you'll be amazing at running the HOF.

Finding the details of the babes who finished on the shows before the start of the forum has been difficult and there are the majority of the babes who aren't there.

For example I had to quickly put together a post for Lolly Badcock in November and she was still on the shows up to 2014.

A quick calculation on the A-Z thread is that there's around 700 babes. Ridiculous amount of work put in by Charle, respect. I suspect this could be less than 50% of all the babeshow babes, that's a complete guess, but it would take an army to complete a full profile list.

Voting / induction procedures aside, this seems like a good idea to me.

I may be wrong, but I recall two broad categories of threads rearing up in HOF season: those threads where people nominate and vote; and this thread, which is almost exclusively about process.

And to this Forum’s credit, everyone is impeccably behaved and on-topic all the time. The voting threads are filled with people only voting. And this thread is exclusively about discussion of the induction process.

There is no obvious place to have a lively debate around the merits of one nominee or another.

This is something in isolation that could prove extremely useful to jog memories and remind folk of options that under a time pressure of voting may not spring to mind quite so easily. Any cap or vid links could be supplied if desired too.

It is definitely something I am seriously considering even at this early stage.

^ A good idea to get the ball rolling, a commitee type discussion where everybody can contribute. And it will help Snooks determine the way forward from here.

And yes, don't just throw in names simply because they are your favourites, give evidence as to why there should be considered for HoF status.

When it comes to the actual voting, WelshMichael's Pro Football HoF analogy certainly has merit. A minimum number of inductees from the nominations (like the most counted) plus those that meet a pre-determined percentage of votes.

Whether to also replicate Pro Football HoF's categerories such as Modern Era Players (= Modern Era babes) and Seniors (= Legend babes) is an onging debate. But I also suggest a catergory for the channels themselves, we've lost so many that need recognition too..
