Mark Selby went on to win Group 5 of the Championship League.

In Group 6 the 147s were flying in for the Chinese players. Both Wu Yize and Xiao Guodong made a 147 in the round robin stage. Zhao Xintong made a 147 in his 3-0 semi final win over Jak Jones. But Wu Yize had the last laugh, making a 127 break in beating Zhao 3-1 in the final.

That's 20 maximums now in this record breaking season.

Selby has won the Invitational Championship League, beating Wu Yize 3-1 in the final. His third tournament win this season and three in a row in this particular tournament. He's looking in great form of late.

Selby is the first player to win 3 professional tournaments this season. in 18 tournaments there have been 14 different winners. However in the 13 ranking events, all 13 have had different winners.

Mark Selby has only won 1 ranking event, the UK Championship. Zhao Xintong has won 2 events, but only 1, the World Grand Prix, was a ranking event. Kyren Wilson has also won 2 events, but both the Shanghai Masters and the Masters are invitationals. Kyren has yet to record a ranking event success this season.
