It's always fantastic news when missing episodes of Dr Who turn up . Although the first ever Dr Who episode I ever watched was The Daleks Master Plan episode 7, so I hope some more of the episodes from 7-12 turn up in my lifetime. I can't wait for episodes 1 and 3 to come to iplayer, and watch more of Nicholas Courtney in his role before the Brigadeer.

So I watched episodes 1 and 3 of the Daleks Master Plan today. Nicholas Courtney's character Bret Vyon was bit shady in episode 1 while the story was finding it's feet, but in episode 3, The Devils Planet, when Bret Vyon was helping the Doctor, he was just like the Brigadier in a different outfit. It was classic seeing Courtney play a Brigadier like character opposite William Hartnell's Doctor, and I'm sure long time Dr Who fans will love it.

This story was the last time William Hartnell's Doctor faced the daleks, so it's no surprise how familiar he is with them.
