I disagree, more eyes doesn’t necessarily equal to more money.

Tell that to certain babes on chaturbate or wherever.
Even on the babeshows as we know them, it did, once upon a time. Because at that time the "chat" was THE ONLY place the payment came into it. The babes' ONLY "job" involved getting enough guys to think that paid interaction was worth doing. They did so with a good amount of visualised incentives to as many eyes as they could get turned on to them as possible... with the only caveat being not to give "too much" away for too little.
Problem was that became too much like hard work when other lines of payment options gradually came into it. Those options eventually changed the nature of the majority of the shows' punters in quite a fundamentally way. Over time, the average punter's kink(s) became something quite different from what it was pre-2015.
An odd side effect of this change was that it gave permission for more and more babes (as the old business model grew more and more outdated) to state what perhap a few of them had always felt - that too many eyes on them where not contributing enough in monetary terms (whether that be "at all" or simply "not enough").* Your statement above merely reflects that modern view.
Nevertheless, the question will always remain for some of us: Was it the operators/babes that pushed the change into effect or were they merely meeting the challenges of a faliing demand - in any way they could. And we will always follow that up with "Did it have to turn out the way it has?"
Given all of the above, you can hardly carp at posters who look for signs that ANY babe (literally any) might be thinking of their job in a way that varies from the pervading standard.
* An aside to keep this post more on topic: This particular resentment from the babes is a big part of the contempt for punters many babes display. As other posters have said, that, in turn, leads to many of the bad attitudes this thread describes.
