The Veil.
Espionage thriller series starring Elisabeth Moss as super cool MI6 agent Imogen Salter, working to prevent a terrorist plot to rival 9/11.
She's more psychology and slight of hand than action hero, but fucking brutal with an iron bar when she needs to eek

Ending sets it up for another series, but no sign of it yet. Would be a shame if they didn't, great character.

5/6 Leno copies Carson in going on & on, which doesn't help Conan. Meanwhile, Stewart, Colbert, Kimmel and Fallon all make marks, and there's consideration of those who weren't white and/or men.

6/6
Fallon, Colbert, Noah and Corden represent a changing of the guard for the Internet era, Meyers joins in, Letterman calls it quits, and Covid doesn't help. Somewhat glum ending with "hey, we're in the post-Trump era now!" which hasn't aged well.

But overall an entertaining series.

Bill Bailey's Vietnam
1/6 Hoi An
Looks like he's doing each show from a different place, which should work. Here he looks at fishing, tailoring, worshipping, and finally cooking & eating.

Unspun World
John Simpson has 3 goes at the Middle East, and yet does better when looking at latest stupid plans to return to the Moon. He also amusingly says it's the last in the series, though there'll be a new series next month - he could have just said it was an Easter break.

Mark Lawson talks to Julian Barnes
Another author I've never read... here after winning the Booker at last, and being widowed too. But still writing.

Late Night w/Seth Meyers
Boy, he really loves SNL people. Jim Parsons is good value, Alana Haim is doing more acting, and comedian Chris Fleming seemed a tad too zany.

Talking Pictures: Bonnie and Clyde
Mostly director Arthur Penn and producer/star Warren Beatty. Faye Dunaway seems like she probably avoids interviews, whilst Genes Wilder and Hackman at least had charm to spare.
