1/6 The Scream
Another new art series, pretty basic stuff. Eddie Munch did a few takes on the iconic painting, in fact.

Reality is Not Enough
Irvine Welsh again, getting the "look back over life" treatment, taking a DMT trip, considering his drug journey and literacy and so on.

The Bottom Line
After weeks of being pre-empted, Steve Clemons finally returns to screens, first talking to John Mearsheimer about the state of play for US adventurism, then later to first John Bolton and then separately to Nader Hashemi about the possible directions for the conflict over Iran.

The Train at Platform 5
Another "people's history" gem, about the many rail workers at King's Cross over the years, most of whom were delighted to talk, and loved how their careers panned out.

Silenced Witness - Nagasaki in the eyes of a US combat artist
Ted Gilien was a painter and US soldier sent into the aftermath of the bombing, who took dozens of photos whilst there, and also painted many works, which the US then rejected as not propaganda enough. So he self-published a book, The Price, including many of his works, and got blacklisted as a result and died in his 50s. His son Jeremy told what he could of the story as he tried to track down any of his dad's works. Actual Nagasaki survivors and history experts were moved and impressed by his photos though, and the book.

Global Public Square
Anthony Blinken gets his turn to talk to FZ, this time at least saying Netanyahu had tried to gull Obama and Biden into attacking Iran.

1.3 To Charleston, South Carolina, for BBQ and seafood, then a multi-part challenge involving a burger & shake and other bits, against the clock. He gets close, but still loses.
MvF
1.4 To Sleepy Hollow in NY for an agreeable challenge involving 12 stuffed hotdogs with a weird old mix of toppings. Casey only completes 11 in the time, but does at least bother to manage the 12th afterwards.

2/6 The Starry Night
Van Gogh time; this one painted from memory during his good spells. His mental battles only took off in his last 2 years. His brother died not long after, so it was his sister-in-law Jo who made the effort to point out to the world what they had hitherto missed.
