RE: The Official WWE Discussion Thread
Wow we've had Cena, AJ Styles & Brock Lesnar retire in such a short space of time & I have to say Brock retiring was something I didn't expect.
A multi combat sports World champion but I have to say he probably knew it was the right moment with Oba Femi and even then it is a end of a era and another passing of the torch and you must wonder how long it will be before Femi get a shot at the titles and when he does, I do think he could reign for quite a long time. Whether there is anyone who could even beat him, probably is another thing entirely.
To see Lesnar emotional was something I'd never seen before, but when you think about he is what 48 years old? Probably to some still young but at the same time when you think the punishment his body has been through, maybe it was the right time.
What would be your top 5 WWE Brock Lesnar matches Guys?

Brock was set to retire at Summerslam against Gunther but yes i do agree it was a shock because i didn't expect him to retire to Oba Femi at Wrestlemania.
And he must certainly is the right guy to retire him , i mean Gunther who is already in his late 30's retiring John Cena , what is up with that.
Here you have got a guy who is young, fresh and only 27 Vs Lesnar 48 , big difference and i think he is exactly like Brock was i mean look at the size of him, look at the body on him , he is like a young Brock , this is what you want the perfect guy to replace him with , with the same similarities , not replacing Cena with Gunther which doesn't make sense as them two are nothing a like and Gunther was already at the top anyway.
To be honest with you i think Lesnar cared more with who he wanted to retire against and not just pick Gunther like they all do and apparently i don't know how true this is but he actually likes Oba and he doesn't Gunther so that's why he picked Oba over Gunther.

I think it was more of a case that Oba, being his last match would do more for Oba than it would for Gunther. Say what you want about Brock, but he will make you look like a million dollars if he sees something in you.

I wonder if many within WWE see Gunther as the silent assassin of some sort?
