As a fan of Elina Svitolina I'm delighted she won the Italian Open today.
She beat Coco Gauff in three sets having already beaten Iga Swiatek and Elena Rybakina in previous rounds.

Well done indeed, especially ER who needs some good news for a change.

Serena Williams and Victoria Mboku make an impressive doubles team, I wonder how much they will play beyond the Queen's Club tournament? Serena is the greatest of her era and arguably the GOAT because of the standard of play and depth of talent compared to earlier eras.

The Serena comeback ended early when Mboku got injured.

They are playing catch up at Queen's Club after so much rain.

Emma Raducanu claimed a highly impressive 6-4 6-2 win over in form Sorana Cirstea to reach the last eight.

Katie Boulter dispatched Jaqueline Cristian 6-1 6-3 to do the same before playing her second match of the day against World number 2 Elena Rybakina.
And get this.......
Katie Boulter won!!
A seismic 7-5 2-6 6-4 win to reach the semi finals.

Emma Raducanu is into the semi finals after overcoming Kamilla Rakhimova 6-3 7-5 and will return for her semi final later.

Unfortunately Katie Boulter slumped to a disappointing 6-1 6-3 defeat to Donna Vekic in the first semi final .
