Project Hail Mary - 9/10.

One of the best films I've seen in a while. No spoilers. I think the best way to describe it is charming, well worth watching.

Masters Of The Universe (2026)

a fantastic, very entertaining & very fun film based on the 1980's toys & cartoon of the same name.

It looks amazing with fantastic action set pieces and is full of references & easter eggs from the toys & 80's cartoon as well as the classic 1987 Masters Of The Universe film starring Dolph Lundrgren who does have a cameo in this. There's also references/easted eggs for Highlander

Don't go when the credits start as there are THREE!!! extra scenes spread through the credits. The first one is a fun nod/reference to the 80's cartoon and the other two scenes set up upcoming sequels and/or spinoffs

It took me right back to being an 80's kid watching the cartoon & 1987 film

A Complete Unknown on Disney Plus. A Bob Dylan biopic.

I'm a huge Bob Dylan fan, but I was never a big fan of Joan Baez, nor did I find her particularly attractive. This film seems to reinvent Joan as a stunningly attractive woman with great legs, played by Monica Barbaro, the babe who plays opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger in FUBAR. Not that I'm complaining. If I was Bob Dylan and that was Joan Baez, I would never have left her.

Interestingly, Bob Dylan is still alive, and he's one of the Executive Producers of this film.

9/10

Hail Mary

Finally got around to this one.

Excellent.

The kind of originality in a big budget film that is all too rare out of Hollywood these days. Can’t help thinking that this never would have been made if it hadn’t been considered an unofficial “sequel’ to The Martian.

(That’s not a spoiler. It has nothing to do with The Martian except that it’s based on a book by the same author.)

Disclosure Day:

A very good sci-fi film about a 79yr conspiracy regarding a cover-up on UFO's & aliens on earth
